Sharp was opened in July of 2002 by Head Stylist and Sharp Manager Tony. After realising that his previous job was no longing providing the challenge and excitement he yearned for, the decision was made to go it alone and bring something fresh and contemporary to York.

Located on one of the busiest pedestrian shopping routes into York City Centre, virtually on the Ouse Bridge, Sharp's positioning and reputation as York's premier gentlemen's stylists has exceeded even Tony's high expectations.

All members of the Sharp team are fully proficient in all aspects of colouring, cutting and styling with a fine balance of further specialty skills that complement each other well. All the stylists have undergone extensive training with such industry leaders as Schwarzkopf, Fudge and American Crew, ensuring that their product knowledge and information on current trends is second to none.
